Get an Inside Look at Pacific’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program
Ever wonder what it is like to be part of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at Pacific’s School of Health Sciences (SHS)? Come join us on Wednesday, April 1st for our inaugural SHS Preview Day at the University of the Pacific North Campus in Stockton! This special event is exclusive to current Pacific undergrads and is designed to showcase our health professional graduate programs in person. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the evolution of Pacific’s Physical Therapy program over the last 40 years, and how our profession has grown to meet the needs of patients and society.
Registration is free and includes an information session, a tour of our PT facilities, a shared class session with our current first-year students, and a one-hour evening reception with free food and drink. This hosted half-day event allows Pacific undergrad students to ask questions about the physical therapy profession, our admissions process, and learn first-hand from our current DPT students, faculty and local alumni. The evening reception will feature three of our local alumni, who will provide brief presentations about their area of expertise and advice for future physical therapists.
SHS Preview Day is meant to give students a real look at our 25-month accelerated program and learn more about what to expect as a future Doctor of Physical Therapy student. Information will also be provided about Pacific's Pre-PT Advantage Program, which offers University of the Pacific undergraduate students an opportunity to secure priority admission into the DPT program.
Interested in attending? Space is limited, so reserve your spot while you can. Register early for a chance to win a 2026-2027 “B” Parking Permit (must be present to win).
