Creamy Tomato Pasta With Shrimp

Tip: you can replace the shrimp with cut-up hot dog, chicken, mushrooms, or even just eat the pasta by itself.

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1/2 box of Penne Pasta

  • 4 Tablespoons salted butter (2 for pasta, 2 for shrimp)

  • 1 Tablespoon all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk

  • 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce

  • 5 cloves garlic, chopped

  • Peeled and deveined shrimp

  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil

  • (Optional salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, and Parmesan cheese)

Method

  1. Boil water and cook pasta

  2. In a large pot, melt butter. Stir in evaporated milk and spaghetti sauce. Heat until thickened slightly

  3. In another pan, heat butter and oil for about a minute. Cook shrimp until orange

  4. Add cooked pasta and shrimp to sauce, toss to coat

  5. Serve warm
