In a statement made by Sarah Lowry, a second year Ph.D. student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University, Lowry mentions that this year’s applicants for the program were “highly competitive, with an acceptance rate of 26%... 20 students were admitted into the cohort.”
