Trump appears as host on SNL

On Saturday Nov. 7, Republican presidential hopeful and businessman Donald Trump hosted NBC’s Saturday Night Live.
Trump’s appearance on the show was protested by a group of about 200 anti-Trump demonstrators.
DeportRacism.com, a Latino rights group, not only led a boycott of Saturday Night Live, but also a reward of $5,000 to anyone who would yell “Trump is a racist!” or “Deport racism!” during the show.
As part of the sketch, comedian Larry David yelled “Trump is a racist!” during the opening monologue. David went on to explain the $5,000 bounty. “As a businessman, I can fully respect that,” Trump responded on the show. DeportRacism.com has since stated that joke or not, David will be awarded the money for calling out Trump.
Trump, the current GOP frontrunner, hasn’t appeared on SNL since 2004; however, he gave SNL its biggest overnight ratings since 2012.
