Getting a Taste of Pacific

Taste of Pacific is one of Pacific Homecoming’s most memorable and popular events. It features alumni vintners amongst a variety of other food stations.
The event is restricted to adults ages 21 and over and costs $55 per person for entry. Taste of Pacific will feature 12 wineries and one brew pub for all to enjoy!
In past years, attendance has been around 400 people. There are special seating areas for class and reunion groups. Kelli Page ‘87, executive director for alumni relations, encourages alumni, staff, faculty and students to give the event a try. “It’s a fun event where you can try really great wines and taste a variety of foods, tapas style.” Taste of Pacific started with a simple wine-tasting event over 12 years ago. About seven years ago, food vendors were added to the list to help complement the selection of wine tasting. “It turned into a fun festival-type event with wine, food and music,” explained Page.
