Days as a Master’s student can get challenging and lead to a lack of effort with regards to one’s style. The effort that was once used to get dressed up for class get put into studying and group projects. However, Megan Jonsson ‘15, a first year MBA student from Lodi, Calif. does not fall into that trap.
Whether she is rushing to class, snowboarding or lounging on the beach, Jonsson allows her creative juices to flow into all of her outfits, tailoring them to the environment. Jonsson tends to go more on the casual side.
“There is nothing better than a great pair of jeans. I like to try everything from cameo pants to dresses, it’s about how you wear it, how it fits in your surroundings, and the statement you are trying to make,” remarked Jonsson. In Jonsson’s interview with The Pacifican, she arrived in a white, racerback tank, topped with a salmon-colored, knitted cardigan.
To complete her outfit, Jonsson had on black cotton shorts and a pair of camel and hemp strap wedges, giving her a few more inches to her legs. “I am not a big frame glasses kind of girl,” Jonsson stated and tends to go with the sportier type frames. Jonsson’s outfit includes a cardigan from JC Penney, with the rest of her clothes being Mossimo from Target. Mix and match the shorts and cardigans for the warmer days this spring break, and they can take you anywhere from a nice restaurant to a bar to the beach.
