Midnight Mania is one of the biggest events of Homecoming weekend. This event introduces the men’s and women’s basketball teams and officially kicks off basketball season.
Midnight Mania will begin Friday, Oct. 18 at 10 p.m. in the Alex G. Spanos Center.
Last season, men’s basketball won the Big West tournament and was one of the 64 teams to be entered into the March Madness tournament.
Women’s basketball received regular season accollades for their performance against other Big West squads.
They ultimately finished in the Sweet 16 round of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament.
Midnight Mania will showcase the talents of the current basketball squads, including many special contests, such as a slam dunk contest.
The night also includes many other contests and giveaways, which will allow Pacific fans to join in on the fun.
The Tiger Dancers and Pep Band will also be performing—foreshadowing the basketball game experience for the 2013-14 season.
Midnight Mania is one of the most remarkable events of the school year, so it is highly encouraged that students bring their families and friends who are attending Homecoming weekend!
Beforehand, there will even be the first Tiger tailgating party of the year outside of the Alex G. Spanos Center.
There will be free food, prizes and giveaways, such as the official Orange Army t-shirt! Show some Tiger pride and spirit by supporting two of the most successful sports teams on campus!
